Cascade Summit Animal Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our mission to provide the highest quality in veterinary medical care in a friendly, relaxed setting. We hope you will refer your family and friends to our practice.

We have three veterinarians on staff.  Dr. Christine Ortner, Diplomat ABVP, is the only board certified dog and cat specialist in West Linn.  Dr. Nicole Chamberlin has been working in the Portland area for over 10 years in both general and emergency medicine. Dr. Lauren Chattigre' is a holistic veterinarian who helps our patients with alternative therapies such as acupuncture, orthopedic manipulation, herbs, homeopathy, sound therapy and reiki.

    Dr. Christine Ortner

    Dr. Christine Ortner, Diplomate American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, is a board certified specialist in canine and feline practice.  She is the only dog and cat specialist in West Linn and one of only six in Oregon. 

    Dr. Ortner is experienced in small animal practice and emergency medicine.  She is married to Dr. Paul Ortner, an endodontist in Lake Oswego.  They are proud parents of Paul (6 years old), Luke and Joshua (twins, 2 years old).  Christine and Paul both have their pilot licenses and love to fly.

  • Dr. Lauren Chattigre'

    Dr. Lauren Chattigre'

    Dr. Lauren Chattigre' offers a wide range of natural and holistic healing options for dogs and cats, including acupuncture, homeopathy, orthopedic manipulation, herbs, flower essences, reiki, and nutraceuticals.  After receiving her DVM from Colorado State University in 1997, she acquired certification in veterinary acupuncture, veterinary homeopathy, veterinary orthopedic manipulation (a gentle form of spine and limb adjustment using a hand-held instrument), and reiki. A clinical apprenticeship provided study in Chinese herbs.  She has helped animals with a diverse array of conditions including arthritis, Cushing's disease, intervertebral disc disease, allergies, seizures, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and behavior issues. Dr. Chattigre' and her husband live with nine beautiful cats.

  • Dr. Nicole Chamberlin

    Dr. Nicole Chamberlin

    Dr. Nicole Chamberlin was born and raised in Alaska.  Her undergraduate studies at Reed College brought her to Portland.  Dr. Chamberlin graduated from the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.  She has practiced in the Portland area for ten years in small animal general practice, emergency medicine, and relief (temporary) capacities.  Dr. Chamberlin volunteers with the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon and assists the Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood with spay/neuter surgeries.  She has served on the executive board of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, and is a member of the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.  She believes that it is her role as a veterinarian to offer each client superb customer service, and all diagnostic and treatment options for their pet.  Her goals are to support the client through the decision making process and to offer compassionate, excellent veterinary care to her patients.  She shares her home with her husband, two children and four cats.  Her hobbies include hula dancing, gardening and exploring Portland restaurants.
